Charts and graphs are commonly used in the media, and in this discussion you will take some time to see how various charts and graphs are presented.
Search online newspapers, online magazines, and other online media outlets for an example of a graph or chart that you think does either a particularly good job or a particularly bad job of summarizing data.
Attach a link to the graph or chart, or attach the graph or chart itself, to share with other learners. Include the following information in your post:
- Why is this chart or graph better or worse than simply presenting numerical results?
- What aspects of the chart or graph are particularly good, or bad, at summarizing the results?
- How would you change the chart or graph?
